Picking Flowers

“Picking Flowers” is a short claymation film directed by Isabella Akhtarshenas in collaboration with musician Eric Scott.

The film follows a human–wolf hybrid born from heartbreak as he learns to let go of his past and step into the future. Flowers symbolize familiar cycles of love as resilience blooms from the ruins of loss. Across more than 2,200 handmade frames, Akhtarshenas brings this emotional metamorphosis to life. Drawing on her background in ceramics, every element was designed and sculpted by hand with intentional care.
